We finally have pricing details for the standard edition Cadillac Lyriq 2023. The rear-wheel-drive variant will start at $62,990 (including destination fees), and shipping will begin this fall. The all-wheel-drive version will retail for $64,990, but won’t arrive in showrooms until early 2023. Cadillac will begin taking orders for both drivetrains on May 19.
Shipments of the previously announced Lyriq Debut Edition began this summer. Cadillac is offering this version exclusively by reservation, and it sells out in just 10 minutes. The Debut Edition is only available in rear-wheel drive and retails for $59,900.

Motor1.com contacted Cadillac for a statement about the price difference between the Debut Edition and the regular model. A spokesperson replied:
“With the launch of the LYRIQ Debut Edition 2023, we are offering our first EV customers a special price of $59,990. As we enter the regular life cycle of a vehicle, we have adjusted our prices to reflect the vehicle’s content. starting at $62,990 for the RWD model, we still feel the LYRIQ is competitively priced in the midsize luxury SUV segment.”
All Lyriq 2023 customers get a choice of two years of unlimited public charging credit on the EVgo network or a $1,500 credit for installation of a Level 2 AC home charger from the company Qmerit. Cadillac’s accessory offerings for EVs include an 11.5 kilowatt and 19.2 kW wall-mounted charging unit.
The rear-drive Lyriq produces 340 horsepower (253 kilowatts) and 325 pound-feet (440 Newton-meters) of torque. It has an EPA estimated range of 312 miles (502 kilometers) from a 100 kilowatt-hour battery. This model can charge up to 19.2 kW from the Level 2 home charger and 190 kW from the DC fast charger.
The all-wheel-drive Lyriq produces about 500 hp (373 kW) and can tow up to 3,500 pounds (1,588 kilograms). Cadillac will release the expected range closer to the model’s launch.
Cadillac also announced two additional exterior colors available for the Lyriq 2023: Opulent Blue Metallic and Crystal White Tricoat.
Cadillac will build the Lyriq in Spring Hill, Tennessee. General Motors is investing $2 billion into the facility to build electric vehicles there. The automaker is also putting in $2.3 billion to build a battery cell manufacturing plant nearby.
