Audi S6 and S7 2023 buyers in the United States can order the sporty model with a new Design Edition package that adds some style to match their pace. The gear is a $2,500 option, and the automaker says it’s only available for the 2023 model year. Customers can start placing orders for the Design Edition in June 2022.
The Design Edition S6 and S7 come in an exclusive Arrow Gray exterior color with a Brilliant Black roof. If you don’t like this particular shade, other options are: Brilliant and Mythos Black Metallic, Daytona Gray Pearl Effect, Firmament Blue Metallic, Florett Silver Metallic, Glacier White Metallic, Tango Red Metallic, and Ultra Blue Metallic.

Most of the exterior trim on the Design Edition is in Liquid Chrome Dark. There are also glossy black elements for the Four Rings badge, model badge, window frames and mirror caps. Audi colored the headlight lenses to give them a darker look.
The Design Edition model uses 21-inch alloy wheels. The one on the S6 has a textured finish, and its five spokes split into a V-shape around the edges. The setup for the S7 features an open trapezoidal element where each spoke is split. Both have red S-branded brake calipers.
Inside, the vehicle has sports seats with black Valcona leather upholstery. The gearshift, bottom console and knee pads are the Dinamica, which is an Audi microfiber cloth. The flat bottom steering wheel gets an Alcantara cover and is heated. Red contrast stitching adds some color to the cabin.
The Audi S6 and S7 2023 in the US are also getting the brand’s new electric powered compressor system. This technology includes an electric motor with a small turbine that rapidly increases the pressure. The result is sharper throttle response and less noticeable turbo lag. Even with this update, the output of the twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 remains at 444 horsepower (331 kilowatts).
