Small Car Carrying Large Wood Planks Sideways Smashes Car, Runs Away

Transporting building materials is something you can do with your daily commute, at least sometimes when they fit inside without blocking your view of the road and without posing a traffic risk. Of course, the bigger the vehicle, the easier it will be to fit more items in the trunk. When transport duties are beyond your machine’s capabilities, you can always rent a larger one or, alternatively, pay a transport company to deliver materials directly to your door.

The gray sedan driver from the video below doesn’t do any of these things and instead decides to haul some construction material himself. The vehicle was carrying some wooden planks but the way it was loaded was the worst we could imagine. The beam hangs sideways from the rear window of the car in a way that extends the dimensions of the vehicle beyond one lane of the road. And this is the biggest mistake of the driver.

The video starts from the moment the car approaches the crossroads and from what we can learn, the accident happened on Airport Road south of the Texas city of Temple. We can’t pinpoint the exact location, but in the video, we can see a bridge over the main road and a pathway to the right. Several vehicles lined up there and the vehicle carrying the wooden planks passed by at high speed, first hitting a traffic sign with the driver losing control of the vehicle. As a result, they then hit the SUV that was waiting in line and kept going without even considering stopping at the crash site.

The camera car continues to follow the gray sedan, which continues to walk down the road. If you look closely, you can see that an SUV is seen chasing the sedan. Just a few miles down the road, the car approached another intersection and after a brief deliberation, the driver turned left at a red light. Fortunately, it seemed that no one was hurt.
