The GMC Canyon offers decent off-road capability in stock form, but for customers who need more, American Expedition Vehicles is a great choice. GM certainly thinks so, which is why AEV was chosen to provide off-road upgrades for the Canyon AT4X AEV Edition. Now, the off-road specialist group is offering a new turnkey conversion package designed to deliver factory-level integration and durability through a comprehensive suite of upgrades.

Of course, anyone interested in doing serious off-roading will need some sort of recovery solution, and for that, the new AEV conversion package includes a COMEUP 9.5rs Slim Winch kit. Thanks to its compact, sealed design and synthetic rope construction, this winch offers relatively low weight plus great towing capability, and tips the scales at approximately 9,500 pounds. The winch is also a great fit for AEV’s stamped steel front bumper setup.

The package also includes cosmetic upgrades with graphic treatments on the hood, roof and rear doors, as well as a windshield banner that further reinforces the AEV’s distinctive styling. Beyond aesthetics, the GMC Canyon conversion package offers a high-mounted snorkel system that lifts the induction all the way to the roofline, and is made from UV-stable low-linear polyethylene to withstand the elements.

In the corners, customers have a few different wheel options, starting with the Salta XR 12-spoke rollers, as well as AEV Crestone DualSport wheels with optional beadlock rings. Both wheels can be finished in Onyx or satin black, and can also be fitted with serious off-road rubber, with BFGoodwich 315/70R17 All-Terrain KO2 tires offered in either package.

The turnkey nature of the new AEV package simplifies the upgrade process for GMC Canyon owners, offering a combined setup that ensures all the parts are designed to work together seamlessly. The AT4X package is priced at $7,975, while the AT4X AEV Edition package costs $4,570. Further information is available at AEV website.
