Luxury Minivan Coming Soon

  • Mercedes-Maybach will build a luxury minivan based on the VLE called the VLS.
  • It will be a ‘true Maybach’, according to the automaker.
  • It will go on sale at the end of next year.

Mercedes-Benz has a new minivan that it plans to sell in the United States. Like most Mercedes products, Maybach will make an ultra-luxury version called the VLS, and we’ve released our first teaser.

The photo shows Maybach badges on the D-pillars, chrome window surrounds and shiny paint. Most of the upgrades will be made on the inside, with Maybach increasing the luxury level of its big limousine. The automaker previewed the minivan less than a year ago with the Vision V concept.

Mercedes says the VLS will offer plenty of space and “uncompromising commitment to rear passengers,” encompassing “a whole new world of comfort and digital sophistication.” This is a “true Maybach,” according to the automaker.

The automaker didn’t say when the Mercedes-Maybach VLS would arrive. The VLE isn’t expected to go on sale in the United States until next year, and the Maybach version will likely arrive after that. We wouldn’t be surprised if this product only hits the market in late 2027.
