The latest teaser video for the Audi Urbansphere gives us a better look at the front and rear, in addition to showing a bit of the interior. Full debut on April 19.

The clip begins with a light show of taillights and then headlights. There are several LED lights at both ends. Then we see the prima ballerina Yuan Yuan Tan. He entered the Urbansphere. He sat in a chair with a headrest wrapped around the side of his head.

Next, we get to see more of the cabins. A console, which appears to be between the seats, opens to reveal four cups of tea in one serving. Presumably, this area is heated to keep drinks warm.

The illuminated walls are still there from the previous teaser. On one of those, there’s a controller that seems to let the chair move to an almost level position, which would be handy for naps on the road.

The final shot shows what the dashboard looks like. The phrase “Floating Membrane” is shown on the right. There are no visible physical buttons.

The previous teaser for the Urbansphere concept (above) didn’t let us see many vehicles as the lighting was very dark. You have a glimpse of the long windshield and the short nose. There are lights in the cabin, and two rows of seats are visible.

Audi also showed an image of the Urbansphere. It describes the concept as what looks like a big crossover. There is a thick pillar at the back. Overhangs at the front and back are short.

The Urbansphere is the third in the “sphere” concept family that aims to show the future shape of autonomous automotive. The Skysphere came first as a two-seat, open-top sports car with a wheelbase that could be extended or retracted. The Grandsphere is a luxury sedan that measures 17.6 feet long to create a spacious cabin.

There’s no indication that Audi intends to put these concepts into production, at least as we see in this presentation. Vehicles provide a glimpse of what the company is considering for the future.
