Check Out The Latest Spy Photos Of The Upcoming Cadillac XT3

[ad_1]

A few weeks ago, Cadillac Society Spies took several photos of the Cadillac XT3 prototype undergoing road testing. Since then, we’ve captured more spy shots of the upcoming small luxury crossover once again undergoing testing in a real-world setting, giving us our best look yet at the model to come.

This Cadillac XT3 prototype is still draped in camouflage, hiding the fine details of its exterior design. Even so, the signature vertical lighting mounted on the front end is visible, clearly identifying this prototype as a Cadillac. Further back, we see the thin taillights oriented vertically with horizontal accents, which are reminiscent of the design of the Cadillac XT6 and Cadillac Lyriq taillights.

Two holes in the front camouflage house a set of air inlets on the top grille as well as on the underside of the front fascia. As we discussed earlier, this upcoming crossover has an internal combustion engine rather than a battery electric propulsion system, hence the need for grille openings and exhaust outlets at the rear of the vehicle.

Also worth noting is the small gap at the front end of the camo, which allows the front-facing camera to function properly. Other than that, this particular prototype sports the same multi-spoke alloy wheels we saw earlier. It also features a traditional roofline that blends into the rear like a hatchback with relatively short overhangs.

It’s worth noting that this vehicle appears to be slightly smaller than the Cadillac XT4, so it’s not a refresh of the current XT4 model. It’s also too small to be a prototype for the Cadillac XT5, which will be overhauled, because Cadillac Society first time exclusively reported. Based on its size, the XT3 will be placed below the XT4 as a luxury B-crossover, where it will go head to head with competitors like the Lexus UX and Volvo XC40.

As more information becomes available about this subcompact luxury crossover, we’ll be sure to keep you updated. Meanwhile, subscribe Cadillac Society for more Cadillac spy photos and all-time Cadillac news coverage. We also invite you to join the latest discussions on our Cadillac forums.
