The 2024 model year will represent the fourth model year for the Cadillac XT6, which is expected to get its much-anticipated mid-cycle refresh. Now, Cadillac Society has learned when production of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 will begin.
According to our intel, production of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 for the US market is scheduled to begin in June 2023, thereby ending production of the 2023 XT6 in the middle of next year.
The 2024 Cadillac XT6 is expected to receive a refresher consisting of an updated exterior and interior, along with several other changes. The three-row luxury crossover will continue to use the luxury marque’s C1 platform and we expect it to continue to be offered with a choice of two petrol engines in the US market. The first is a naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production designation LGX), with 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. This machine is standard on Premium Luxury and Sport models and can be identified by the 400 logo on the lift door.
The second is a turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), which produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The engine is offered exclusively in the base Luxury trim, and the liftgate wears a 350T badge to identify the upgraded four. Both engines bolt to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission.
Pricing for the 2024 Cadillac XT6 isn’t yet available, but base price for the 2023 Cadillac XT6 Luxury starts at $49,990 for the front-wheel drive model; all-wheel-drive carries a starting price of $51,990. Premium Luxury Trim with FWD starts at $56,190, and AWD is $58,190. Meanwhile, the Sport trim is offered exclusively in AWD, and costs from $61,490.
As a reminder, production of the XT6 takes place at its Spring Hill factory in Tennessee for all markets except China.
