Filthy Lamborghini Countach Barn Find Gets First Wash In 20 Years

This Lamborghini Countach was in the garage for 20 years, and many rodents used the iconic Italian supercar as a toilet for decades. Cleaning a vehicle requires a disinfectant in much the same way as washing things back to their beautiful shine.

The previous owner bought this 1985 Countach back in 1988. He had a lot of fun with it, but the supercar eventually made its way to the warehouse. He intends to restore vehicles and purchase a treasure trove of official Lamborghini parts. However, this never happened.

The Curated Company in Miami, Florida, will restore the Countach. However, this supercar’s first stop is the Ammo NYC for a much-needed deep clean.

Things started simple with the power of a body wash and covering the outside with foam. The video notes something interesting about paint. The thickness is inconsistent from panel to panel. This is not surprising because for small supercars from the human past, it is not machines that are responsible for applying the original paint.

With the exterior looking good, it’s time to get dirty as the next step is to get the rodent droppings and nuts out of the engine bay and rear storage area. One tool that makes this possible is a brush that attaches to a soap dish.

Cleaning the interior is a challenge in itself because the strut that supports the driver’s door is no longer functioning. The solution is to use a camera tripod to hold it in place.

If you think the back is bad, you haven’t seen anything yet. The carpet and dashboard are covered in rat droppings, which isn’t a big surprise this time. On the spot, you can even see mouse footprints on the skin.

The glovebox was apparently the rat’s main habitation because the biggest nest was there. The rodent entered through the hole in the upper corner.

In the end, Countach looks fantastic, especially compared to the starting point. Now, he is going to Florida for mechanical restoration. Then, it was finally able to get back on the road for the first time in decades.
