Latest James Bond Movies No Time To Die featuring Aston Martins from various eras. At the beginning of the film, we are treated to an action-packed scene featuring OG’s spy car, the classic DB5. Bond’s Daniel Craig uses every gadget at his disposal to escape criminals, leaving Aston’s old but functioning battle scars. The stunt car recently made $3.2 million at auction, battle damage, and all.

Of course it’s not real DB5. It’s a made-for-film replica, but that hasn’t stopped bidders from shelling out more money than the original sold for. While technically a replica, it’s one of eight cars Aston Martin built specifically for the film, so there’s a direct connection to the storied automaker. It also includes functional gadgets like rotating license plates and a pop-out machine gun for the headlights, which makes it even cooler.

The DB5 was the highlight of the special Sixty Years of James Bond charity auction held recently at Christie’s in London. It’s also not the only Aston Martin in existence. The classic 1981 V8 Vantage used on screen in No Time To Die sold for nearly $703,000. Representing the modern era, the new DBS Superleggera 007 Edition brings in $449,000. In all, the three Bond cars grossed $3.9 million, with all of them donated to various charities.

“Aston Martin is incredibly proud to be a part of the James Bond DNA and we’re excited to celebrate this 60th anniversary with the sale of the truly unique Aston Martin model we created for him. No Time To Die,” said Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman.
