The Dazzle is the new Class-B camper van from Thor Motor Coach. It has two different layouts, measures 21 feet long, and rides on a Ram Promaster chassis powered by a V6 engine. Dazzle features a simple and sleek design without paying too much attention to the van.
The camper van has no tent and bike rack and is equipped with a gas generator. However, there is a 190 watt solar panel as standard equipment. The layout of the two is similar, with the kitchen and wet bathroom in the middle of the vehicle, but the dining and sleeping areas are different.
Floor plan 2AB features a front-facing dining table at the front of the Ram and a retractable king bed at the back. The 2JB layout features a side-facing dining table and a pull-out sleeper sofa for the back. It also features a second removable table in front of the sofa and additional seating.
Both kitchens have dual burner gas hobs with lids, 12-volt fridge, sink, microwave and tabletop wireless charging. There’s a large drawer under the sink, and additional storage cabinets above it, and the cupboards and pantry are on opposite sides of the ProMaster, sandwiched between the wet tub and the front dining area. The driver and passenger seats in both layouts can be rotated. The bathroom is simple, with a cassette toilet, folding sink and shower head.
Thor designed the camper van to accommodate two people, although it can accommodate up to six passengers in the 2JB layout. Floor plan 2AB can accommodate four people. Thor does offer a retractable roof sleeping area as an option, making it easier to accommodate an additional person. The camper is equipped with residential vinyl flooring, smoke, LPG and carbon monoxide detectors, flat top cabinet doors, and fire extinguishers.
Thor Dazzle is new for 2023, but another option for those looking to go camping with something easy to ride. The simple layout comes with what most people need and want, without the many complicated bells and whistles that can get in the way of the fun. Dazzle starts at $122,220.
