Road bikes are a wild thing. There’s an obsession with saving weight that drives elite riders to spend huge amounts of money on the latest and greatest products.
Currently, one of the biggest pedal powers you can buy comes from Factor, with a bike called the One. To take things a step further, Factor has teamed up with Bugatti to deliver a truly wild and boundary-pushing rig.

Factor describes its One as the fastest UCI legal bike in the world. They look at every aspect of the rulebook and find wherever they can go beyond the limits. However, with the Bugatti Factor One, the rulebook is thrown aside.
The forks are wider, reducing drag and increasing front-end stability. The bike uses the same carbon fiber frame construction as the standard bike, but has a unique weave and finish that mirrors the carbon work on Bugatti’s road cars.
Carbon wheels are mounted front and rear, with the total combined weight of the wheels coming in at just under three pounds. The crank is made of carbon. There is alcantara on the saddle. And the brake rotors are a mix of carbon and steel.

Of course, the bike features a French Racing Blue paint scheme. But the best part is the dancing elephant on the front of the bike. The symbol was created by Rembrandt Bugatti, Ettore’s brother.
Factor only made 250 units of the Bugatti Factor One. Each starts at $23,999 but can be customized to suit buyer preferences. The standard version starts at $7,599 and can go as high as $14,499, giving the Bugatti version a jump in price.
But there’s nothing in it Factor Hanzō Track Paris Editionwhich starts at $59,999. All from this price it makes my mountain bike look good.
Motorcycle Pickup1: If you’re looking for a truly unique road bike, this might be the answer. While Bugatti’s version of the Factor One is quite expensive, it’s a change that doesn’t make sense for anyone who already owns a Chiron.
