Porsche Auctions Make Big Money!

  • Magnus Walker is selling 160 lots worth of Porsches, including 16 complete cars.
  • The Outlaw Collection earned $2 million.
  • Many beat pre-auction estimates.

Magnus Walker recently cleaned out house by unloading tons of Porsches, merchandise, spare parts, and other miscellaneous items he’s collected over the years. The Outlaw Collection auction total featured 16 complete cars out of 160 items for sale.

The auction was managed by RM Sotheby’s, which said the collection fetched $2 million and had a 100 percent sale rate. Obviously, Magnus Walker’s appeal is very high, and fans are doing their best to grab whatever they can.

The most expensive item proved to be Magnus’ 1967 Porsche 911 S. This is a great example that has lots of Magnus Walker touches, like Fifteen52 wheels, a contrasting hood, and a matching but modified 2.3-liter flat-six engine.

Pre-auction estimates peg the value at between $150,000 and $200,000. But this one managed to raise a pretty surprising $308,000.

  • 1967 Porsche 911 S: $308,000
  • 1965 Porsche 911: $225,000
  • 1976 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI: $225,500
  • 1975 Porsche 911 Turbo: $203,500
  • 1966 Porsche 911: $192,500
  • 2005 Porsche 911 GT3: $159,500
  • 2002 Porsche 911 GT2: $148,500
  • 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo: $77,000
  • 1968 Porsche 911 Urban Outlaw Starter Kit: $66,000
  • 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera Flat Nose Wide Body Convertible: $50,600

There’s also a 2.4-liter 911 S that sells for $27,600. Someone bought the old sign for $7,500. And someone even paid $3,360 for a pair of Magnus Walker’s autographed Nike Dunk sneakers.

That at least expensive stuff? A set of 911 Pistons retails for $48. Maybe the buyer could get Magnus to sign it, and then return it for more money. Or maybe they really need it to restore the car, in which case it might be a good deal.

Motor Pickup1: The name Magnus Walker clearly has a big influence in the Porsche community. Many of the cars sold for more than pre-auction estimates, and the rest also sold well.

This means Magnus has room to add more things… or he realizes the beauty in simplifying everything in your life and reducing it.
