The Infiniti QX50 sails into the 2023 model year pretty much the way it departs 2022. The luxury crossover doesn’t offer any design or tech changes, but you’ll see a darker-themed Sport model in dealer showrooms. You will also find more features standard on all models.
The big news is the Infiniti QX50 Sport. Placing a mid-pack between the Luxe and Sensory trims, the Sport injects some aggression into the mix. It was done the old fashioned way with a large amount of black trim on the outside. And we mean all trim, from the grille and grille surrounds to the windows, fender wings and badges. Even the exhaust tips are black, and the QX50 Sport uses 20-inch alloy wheels in a dark color. To further differentiate it in the lineup, Infiniti installed a unique front fascia. Inside you’ll find skins, a Bose stereo, and the standard Around View monitoring system from Infiniti.
Speaking of standard equipment, there’s a lot more kit included with all QX50 models for 2023. Starting from the remote, the heated exterior mirrors and the frameless mirrors are big additions. Rear Door Alerts and a cordless phone charging pad are also added as standard equipment. For the lower-end Pure and Luxe models, a new 19-inch wheel design is offered. These are all in addition to the Infiniti suite of driver assistance and safety systems that continue to be standard technology in the QX50 family.
The family is a bit more expensive for 2023. The base price for the entry-level QX50 Pure now starts at $40,300. This is a $1,150 increase from 2022, and you’ll find a similar $1,100 increase on the Luxe. The Sensory is also up $1,150, but the top-of-the-line Autograph’s QX50 is only up $250. That doesn’t include the $1,195 Infiniti destination fee, which is also more expensive for 2023 (last year $1,095). The new QX50 Sport starts at $48,500.
