The latest was discovered in recent days by the Siena Traffic Police who denounced a man who had devised a smart and intelligent system to pay the motorway toll much less than due.
The man had been stopped in his Audi, he acted like this: he demagnetized the code of the entrance ticket to try to pay less and every time he succeeded in his goal with nonchalance. Once the destination was reached, as soon as the toll-keeper asked where he had entered from, he pointed to the closest possible toll booth, paying a much lower sum than normal. Unfortunately, however, after discovering the scam, the police investigated, denouncing the man for fraud. Following the checks he was forced to tell the truth.
