The Certified Used Car Program is nothing new in the industry. That’s how automakers convince their customers that they are buying a used car that is still on par with new quality.
Bugatti is the latest automaker to start offering the Certified Pre-Owned Program. This is for one-percenters who are on the market for a Bugatti Chiron or Veyron but only for used models. Sure, there are some flippers and sellers out there. But given the exorbitant cost of maintaining an old Veyron, there are many advantages to going the official route to buying a used Bugatti.

Of course, Bugatti promises the best quality when buying a Chiron or Veyron through the Certified Pre-Owned Program.
“Those who choose to purchase a used Veyron or Chiron through an authorized Bugatti Partner will be able to do so safely knowing that the vehicle they are purchasing exhibits the unmatched quality expected from a Bugatti macaron,” the release said.
These cars also come with a one year limited warranty. For the Chiron, this is as comprehensive as a warranty for a new vehicle, covering all parts and labor for mechanical, electrical, corrosion or painting problems. On the other hand, the older Veyron limited warranty covers all mechanical and electrical items, as well as parts and labor costs.
Even better, the one year limited warranty is respected anywhere in the world. So, let’s say you bought a Certified Pre-Owned Bugatti in Europe, a service center in the Middle East would have to honor that warranty (and vice versa).
For warranty work, only authorized Bugatti Service Partners are allowed to touch the car while only genuine Bugatti parts are used. These replacement parts come with a two year warranty. Certified Pre-Owned Buyers also get inclusive annual service within the first year of ownership, performed at an authorized Bugatti Service Partner.
