Although now out of production, the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon remains a very fast vehicle on the drag track. This video shows two rounds of one heavily modified pickup, the old pickup. Then, the Challenger SRT Hellcat took a tuned Ford F-250.
First, the Demon marched against the early 1970s Datsun pickups. In most situations, Dodge will leave old Japanese pickups in the dust. However, this one packs a giant supercharged engine that isn’t too far from the height of the hood.

When the light turned green, the Demon’s front wheel rose into the air, and the car slid away. Dodge won the drag race in 9.84 seconds at 136.61 miles per hour (219.9 kilometers per hour). The Datsun lost, but a time of 11.28 seconds at 124.25 mph (200 kph) was still impressive.
Next, the Demon picked up a 1940 Ford pickup. Like the Datsun, it offered a massive supercharger. This time it was Dodge’s turn to feel defeated but not by much. Ford took the lead from the line, but Challenger made distance at the finish line.
The Ford pickup clocked 10.09 seconds at 133.17 mph (214.3 kph). The Demon covered the distance in 10.19 seconds at 133.55 mph (214.9 kph).
Lastly, the Challenger SRT Hellcat uses a diesel-powered Ford F-250 that produces 900 horsepower (671 kilowatts), according to the description of this video on YouTube. It took a little time to start the race. Once they are launched, the race is imminent. The pickup managed to win with a record time of 11.65 seconds at a speed of 118.01 mph (189.9 kph). Dodge was just slightly behind with a pass at 11.98 seconds at 123.27 mph (198.4 kph).
