After revealing the new seventh-generation Ford Mustang, the Blue Oval brand will follow up with the debut of the next-generation Super Duty pickup truck. The reveal will happen on Tuesday, September 27, according to a short teaser video posted today on Ford’s social media accounts.
The 11-second clip not only officially tells us when the new Ford Super Duty will be revealed to the world, but it also gives us a glimpse of some details about the upcoming heavy-duty truck, which will likely continue to include the F-250, F-350, and F. -450.
While there’s not much that can be done from a quick shot of the truck’s front tires and lower valance or the distorted display of the Ford logo on the grille and front edge of the hood, we do get a clear view of the Super Duty headlight design. . It’s not something revolutionary, but it’s a clear departure from the units that emerged in the current generation.
The 2022 Ford Super Duty is currently available with several cabin styles and cargo bed lengths. It is also offered with a 385-hp 6.2-liter V-8 and 430-hp 7.3-liter V-8 as well as a Power Stroke diesel with 1050 pound-feet of torque. We’ll just have to wait and see if all those machines carry over to the next generation (and also, what new features will join) when the new Super Duty debuts on September 27th.
