The Best Spy Shots For The Week Of September 12

Motor1.com post spy shots of upcoming vehicles almost daily and sometimes more than that. If you want to stay on the cutting edge of what’s on the road, check out our list of all development vehicles from last week.

The Ford Electric Supervan packs 1,973 horsepower (1,471 kilowatts) of four electric motors. For reasons we can’t explain, this one licks the Nurburgring in wet weather. Plus, there’s a Mustang following it.

This is our first look at the next generation Miata. Although, there’s not much to see as this one clearly has the same body as the current car except for a camouflaged nose. We don’t expect to see the full debut of the new model until 2024.

Kia is getting ready to update the Sorento. The development team doesn’t want us to see it. Apart from the roof and part of the front fender, the entire car sported a mix of camouflage wrap, faux panels and fabric covers.

The Renault 5 has a resurgence on its way as an electric vehicle. The company is testing it under the body of the Clio. At the upcoming Paris Motor Show, the automaker will reveal the sporty 5 concept with large wings.

Rolls-Royce continues to test the Specter EV wearing a body wrap with a message about the new model. There are also some photos inside the upcoming coupe showing the digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen in a single bezel.

The second generation Skoda Kodiaq is now in development. This one is still a test mule riding under the current model. We don’t expect the production version to premiere until 2024.
