David Harbor Starring in the 2023 Gran Turismo Movie

David Harbour, best known as Jim Hopper in Stranger Thingshave a leading role in the upcoming film Gran Turismo movies, according to Hollywood Reporter. Neill Blomkamp directs. He usually makes sci-fi movies like District 9, Elysiumand chappie. The film’s theatrical release date is August 11, 2023.

It Gran Turismo The plot of the film is an adaptation of a true story about a teenage player from the game who won a series of Nissan competitions to become a professional car racer. Harbor plays a retired racer who coaches the teenager.

Harbor is the only cast member that has announced production so far. It is not clear who will play the young racer.

Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi will be one of the film’s executive producers.

Gran Turismo 7 is the latest installment in the long-running racing game franchise. It arrived on PlayStation 4 and 5 on March 4, 2022. At launch, players had access to over 400 cars, and that number is only increasing with subsequent updates.
