Dodge’s latest “Last Call” special edition is the 2023 Charger King Daytona, which is based on the wide-body SRT Hellcat Redeye. However, the King Daytona brings an additional 10 horsepower, which means its supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 now calls for 807 horses.

Along with surpassing the 800-hp mark, the Charger King Daytona is painted in the vibrant color Go Mango, so it definitely won’t go unnoticed by Johnny Law. Its six-piston Brembo brake calipers have a matching orange finish. This special edition also has matte-black graphics on the hood, roof, rear spoiler, and bottom, with the latter featuring the words “King Daytona”.

Other Hellcat-powered Charger exterior details include 20-inch multispoke wheels and badges in satin chrome. Dodge says the King Daytona was inspired by the drag-racing scene on the West Coast in the ’60s and ’70s, and the special edition features a hood pin that completes the look.

Inside, the Charger King Daytona features black nappa leather combined with microsuede accents. Dodge also decorated the room with orange contrast stitching to complement the exterior color of the car. Plus, there’s a “Daytona” logo on the front seats and a “King Daytona” badge on the dashboard. Other interior details include a microsuede steering wheel and headliner, carbon fiber trim, and a Harman Kardon sound system.

The Dodge Charger King Daytona 2023 will be limited to 300 copies, with those allocated to select dealers. While we don’t know how much the new special edition will cost, it will almost certainly be more than the current Charger Hellcat Redeye (about $90k) when orders open this fall.
