BMW M5 CS Called To 888 Horsepower With G-Power Hurricane Upgrade

G-Power is back with another highly tuned model, this time tweaking the current generation BMW M5 CS F90. The tweaked sedan, named the G5M CS Hurricane RR, delivers incredible power thanks to a number of upgrades, receiving visual upgrades to match its insane new output numbers.

The tuned twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 produces 888 horsepower (662 kilowatts) and 774 pound-feet (1,050 Newton-meters) of torque with the magic of G-Power. That’s a huge improvement over the stock car’s 627 hp (467 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of output. G-Power dives deep into the engine to squeeze in extra power, enhancing it with new forged pistons and connecting rods. G-Power also upgraded the turbocharger, installed a new CNC milled turbine and compressor housing, larger compressor and turbine wheels, and modified turbo blades.

Also adding to the car’s performance improvements is the DeepTone G-Power exhaust system, which reduces backpressure and gives the car a unique soundtrack. The M5 also gets the company’s GP-900 software upgrade which is likely to change a number of engine parameters such as ignition timing and more. The added high-power stuff helped increase the car’s top speed to 207 miles per hour (333 kilometers per hour).

If 888 hp is too much for you, G-Power also offers the G5M CS Hurricane RS, which produces a still powerful 840 hp. Those looking for something more tame can opt for the G5M CS Bi-Turbo which is available with 700, 750, or 800 hp output.

Visually, the G5M CS Hurricane RR receives unique 21-inch alloy wheels, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, and other adjustments such as a carbon hood, which helps with engine bay ventilation. The G-Power doesn’t include too many design details, but the modified M5 looks solid.

G-Power has also tuned cars from Mercedes-Benz and Lamborghini, and we’ve also covered many BMW versions of those tuners, such as the 820-hp (611-KW) BMW M8 from 2020. There’s no shortage of tuners willing to squeeze in more. power from BMW’s best M cars, and G-Power does so with a significant upgrade to the M5 CS.
