2023 Chrysler 300C All But Confirmed In Latest Teaser

Unless Chrysler plans to drop the biggest plot twist in automotive history, you can expect to hear about the return of the Chrysler 300C this weekend. That’s not to say the Pacifica Hellcat won’t be interesting (and funny), but the latest teaser almost puts an end to all the speculation. The Chrysler 300C is coming back for one more romp with a rowdy V8.

We previously mentioned the 300C as a possibility, based on some of the investigation we did with earlier teaser photos from Chrysler. The latest photo is similar, showing a close-up of the wheels with red Brembo brake calipers behind them. But this time, the photo came with C strangely mentioned in the text.

At this point, the only thing left was to find out what was under the hood. Perusing the comments on Chrysler’s social media posts, it’s clear that people are excited for some supercharged Hellcat action. An upgraded 6.2-liter engine has graced vehicles from Dodge, Jeep, and Ram, so there’s going to be some nice symmetry to see in Chrysler, if only for a moment. This certainly doesn’t go off the table, but using the naturally aspirated 6.4 liters seems more likely at this point.

For starters, there’s nothing in the teaser to suggest a Hellcat V8 is imminent, and that feels like something tempting. Using that engine would likely require some modifications and reinforcements to the 300’s body, and the investment might be too much for a limited sedan. Meanwhile, the 6.4-liter V8 is familiar territory for the 300, as used in the SRT from 2011 to 2015. The current engine makes 485 horsepower in the Dodge Charger/Challenge Scat Pack models, and there’s no reason to think that will happen. . make less at 300C.

Currently, the 300’s highest range is the 300S with the 363-hp 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Whether the 300C gets a Hellcat or a 6.4-liter engine, it should be a good curtain call for a long-running full-size sedan. We’ll get the full reveal on the evening of September 13, when Chrylser reveals her new special edition model to the world. You can catch all the action here at Motor1.com.
