2023 Lincoln Corsair Flirts One Last Time Before Debut September 12

The debut of the 2023 Lincoln Corsair is just around the corner. To pump up its debut, luxury brand Ford has released the final teaser of the compact crossover on its Facebook page. The teaser, which you can see at the top of this page, shows some updated fascia details, which include daytime running lights (DRL) and a larger grille hiding in the shadows.

We know that the grille will be bigger, thanks to the latest quote from Corsair 2023 in July. The spy prototype has dropped a large amount of camouflage to reveal some parts of the fascia. The gallery below shows the photos taken by our spies.

Based on the spy shots, the Corsair will take design cues from the Lincoln Navigator for its mid-cycle refresh. There may be changes to the sculpted bumper as well as the drive lights, but that’s still a mystery at this point.

The remains of the vehicle were found in previous sightings. This means changes are reserved for the front face, but we also expect in-vehicle updates. Additionally, there has been speculation that there will be an under-the-hood change based on a strange box bolted to the back of the SUV near the exhaust during previous prototype sightings.

For the record, Lincoln is currently offering the Corsair out with a turbocharged 2.0-liter, turbocharged 2.3-liter, or a 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid. The all-electric Corsair-E will be offered from 2026; Lincoln will launch its first electric vehicle shortly before then.

Anyway, we’ll find out the truth as soon as the Lincoln will debut the Corsair 2023 on September 12. Whether there’s an update to the Corsair powertrain or an upgrade in the cabin, we’re now in a few hours. As always, keep an eye on this space for the latest updates.
