The discounted Cadillac Escalade offer continues to be non-existent in February 2022, as the luxury brand doesn’t offer any incentive to purchase a full-size luxury SUV this month. In fact, this February marks the 12thth consecutive months in which no discounts or incentives have been offered for the Escalade.

The lack of a discounted offer for the 2022 Cadillac Escalade in February 2022, and in the months preceding it, is a direct result of very high demand for the Escalade. In fact, full-size luxury SUVs dominated its competitive segment with a 50 percent share in Q4 2021. In addition, the global shortage of microchips has caused automakers to reduce vehicle production, resulting in a severe shortage of new vehicle inventories across the industry.

The low supply and high demand scenario causes Cadillac’s average transaction price (ATP) to skyrocket, suggesting that consumers are willing to pay well above the MSRP for a new vehicle, particularly the new Escalade. Then it can be assumed that luxury brands don’t need to offer discounted Cadillac Escalades because consumers are likely to buy luxury SUVs even if they are expensive.
