Refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 Spy Shots Reveal All-New Front End Design

1 min read

Cadillac Society has overseen the development of the updated Cadillac XT4 2024. In June, we saw a prototype of the subcompact luxury crossover for the first time, giving us an overview of the changes that will be coming to the luxury CUV. Now, our spies have caught the updated XT4 once again, this time giving us a much more detailed look at what’s in store for its front end design.

What we saw was a Cadillac XT4 2024 in the Sport trim level, which can be recognized by the glossy black grille, DLO (window) trim, elongated roof rails and body-colored door handles.

The photos show that the updated XT4 will feature an all-new front fascia, with revised headlights and grille. The headlights have been split to display a two-level theme, with a set of thin horizontal lights at the top end of the cluster serving as a turn signal/hazard indicator complemented by a set of vertically oriented Daytime Running Lights (DLR). ).

The main headlights, meanwhile, have been moved lower on the front fascia, essentially where they were previously occupied by the front aero curtain. This, in turn, appears to have been moved to the outer edge of the vertically oriented DRL.

The grille setup is also all-new, featuring an edgier top grille that resembles the Cadillac XT6. That, in turn, results in a new lower grille that is now more prominent than before, with more distinct intakes and a prominent upper lip. All these changes will also result in new surface details on the front.

At the rear, the taillights don’t appear to be updated compared to the current XT4. However, the lower part of the rear fascia appears to extend lower than before while featuring a differently shaped exhaust tip.

Also pay attention to the wheels: this attractive gray multi-spoker will be all-new for the 2024 model year and looks like it’s 20 inches in diameter.

Inside, the updated Cadillac XT4 2024 will feature a new curved screen that combines the instrument panel (gauge cluster) and center infotainment screen into one horizontally oriented display, similar to the 2021 Cadillac Escalade and newer ones. Cadillac Lyriq.

Additionally, the Cadillac XT4 2024 will offer Super Cruise, bringing the marque’s advanced semi-autonomous driver assistance system to its entry-level vehicles.

Under the hood, the updated Cadillac XT4 2024 is expected to retain the 2.0L I4 turbocharged petrol engine (production code LSY). On the refreshed 2019 XT4 models, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, the upgraded four-pot petrol produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.

In the current model, gearshift is handled by a Cadillac nine-speed automatic transmission, which sends power either to the front wheels as standard, or to all four wheels via an optional all-wheel-drive system. We hope all of these elements will carry over to the updated XT4.
