One look at the Ram ProMaster, especially in its shorter wheelbase configuration, and we’re not sure if it’s suitable for converting into a camper. But as we’ve proven in the past, nothing is impossible for the outfitters out there.
Case in point: this camper conversion of the Ram ProMaster 2500 2022 cargo van, courtesy of New Jersey Outdoor Adventure on Youtube.
The motorhome conversion you see above was done by Brooklyn Campervans in New York City. It started as a high-roof cargo van with a wheelbase of 136 inches (3.45 meters) – among the short configurations of the ProMaster. The company says that it could work on the longer models 159 and 159, as well as the Mercedes Sprinter.

Back to the Ram ProMaster 136, the outside looks simple. The Brooklyn Campervans hasn’t done much to modify the exterior, but that doesn’t take away from what this compact motorhome can offer.
When you open the door, you are greeted with a double passenger seat that rotates like a love seat/sofa. Folding table extension and made of stained walnut. There is an induction hob for cooking purposes; underneath is a small refrigerator. Kitchens/offices benefit from a swivel monitor that doubles as a remote extension.
Brooklyn Campervans promotes smart core flooring – vinyl wood replicas that can come in a variety of styles and finishes. It is said to be durable, with stains that are easy to clean.
As for the shower, it is equipped with original tiles, thanks to the use of a flexible grout. There is a Nebia shower too, along with a portable dry toilet. The stainless steel shower though teak flooring adds style points to the cabin.
The ceiling is also stylish. It comes with wooden slats made of stained mahogany, which complements the wall cladding. There’s also a full-size bedside walnut table with six-inch memory foam. The bedside table turned into a sink. To complete the look, LED lighting elements and digital controls fill the cab.
