The Dacia Jogger By Camperiz Is A Small RV With A Lot Of Features

1 min read

In Europe, companies like Spain’s Camperiz took the Dacia Jogger and turned it into a compact camper. This small van has several advantages as an RV. First, the vehicles are affordable, and there’s plenty of decent interior space. This combination is a good recipe for people looking for a reasonably priced motor home for a weekend in the wilderness.

On the outside, nothing separates Camperiz’s work at the Dacia Jogger, versus the stock van. An optional roof box adds to the rig’s storage capacity.

The interior is where this little van becomes a handy camper for a weekend getaway. Features include a small refrigerator, sink, and portable gas stove. For off-grid use, there’s an additional 100 amp battery for additional electricity and a 3.17 gallon (12 liter) fresh water tank. The rear seat and cargo area are converted into a rollaway bed with a removable mattress. A small heater is an option if you plan to take this van camping when temperatures start to cool off.

Once you’re at your camping site, the vehicle has two outdoor folding chairs and a matching table.

The Dacia Jogger by Camperiz gets power from an engine running on gasoline or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) that produces 99 horsepower (74 kilowatts). It is connected to a six-speed manual gearbox. The interior of the vehicle is equipped with an 8-inch infotainment screen.

Dacia Jogger by Camperiz starts at 23,295 euros ($23,171 at current exchange rates) in Spain. There are some optional upgrades to take the price higher. In addition to the upgrades mentioned above, customers can add things like a 150 watt, 230 volt inverter, outdoor tent, ski rack, surfboard carrier, water heater and bike rack.

As with other Dacia vehicles, don’t expect to see the Jogger in the United States anytime soon. Instead, consider this rig for an entry-level camper look at the European market for buyers who don’t always want to build an RV from scratch.
