2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Maverick Noir Frost Color Very Limited

Throughout its long history and history, Cadillac has four times offered a choice of matte finish exterior paints. The latest matte finish is Maverick Noir Frost, a flat black exterior paint option available exclusively on the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing 2023. Cadillac Society recently learned that Maverick Noir Frost is indeed a rare color, and is limited to the Sebring IMSA Edition model only.

The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Sebring IMSA Edition 2023 is one of three Track Edition models, each of which pays homage to North American race tracks where the luxury marque has found success. Only 99 units representing each track will be produced, with a total of 297 units of the CT4-V Blackwing Track Editions to be made. As only 99 units of the Sebring IMSA Edition will be made, this will be the only 99 units to use Maverick Noir Frost paint. This also means that the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing will not be offered in Maverick Noir Frost paint.

Maverick Noir Frost was chosen as the exterior color to adorn the CT4-V Blackwing Sebring IMSA Edition model as a nod to the Sebring 12 Hour race, which “ends in the dark.” In addition to the exclusive exterior paint color, this special edition model features gray strips on the doors and hood, as well as Tech Bronze brake calipers. It also features a Sebring race track silhouette in the rear window, along with an exclusive IMSA logo sticker.

The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Sebring IMSA Edition 2023 does not feature any performance improvements over the “regular” Blackwing CT4-V. In other words, it retains the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4). The upgraded six produce 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, and are paired with the marque’s deluxe six-speed manual transmission as standard or a 10-speed automatic as options. It rides on the luxury marque’s Alpha 2 platform.

Production of the Sebring IMSA Edition model will begin at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan in January 2023. Order books for the Track Edition model open on August 1.^st2022.
