2023 Cadillac Escalade Is Now $2,000 More Expensive

Customers interested in purchasing a 2023 Cadillac Escalade will have to pay $2,000 more for a full-size luxury SUV than previously thought, Cadillac Society has learned.

The price of the “regular” 2023 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, which are offered in Luxury, Premium Luxury, Premium Luxury Platinum, Sport and Sport Platinum trim levels, has increased by $2,000. This price increase consists of an MSRP increase of $500 and a mandatory three-year OnStar & Connected Services fee of $1,500. Meanwhile, the high-performance Escalade-V and Escalade-V ESV have also received the $1,500 OnStar & Connected Services plan, but are not subject to the increased MSRP. Below, we’ve included updated prices for the regular duration Escalade, along with the extended duration Escalade ESV.

As a reminder, an OnStar & Connected Services subscription is required to add an in-vehicle internet connection and an OnStar subscription. The former supports apps like smartphone-based remote key fobs, built-in AI assistant Alexa AI, Spotify, Audiobooks, navigation (including Maps+), among others, while the latter brings OnStar Security Services which includes Automatic Accident Response, Roadside Assistance, and Stolen Vehicle Assistance.

The Cadillac Escalade 2023 continues to use the body-on-frame T1 vehicle platform and is offered with two engine options for the “regular” model. The first is a naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 petrol engine (production code L87), which is capable of 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This engine is standard on the Escalade, and models with this bike wear the 600 badge on the elevator doors. Meanwhile, a 3.0L I6 turbodiesel engine (production code LM2) is optional. It’s rated at 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque; models with this engine sport the 600D badge on the back. Both engines are mated to a Cadillac 10-speed automatic transmission.

Meanwhile, the Escalade lineup for the 2023 model year is the all-new high-performance Cadillac Escalade-V, which features a supercharged 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4) tuned to produce 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet. torque, making it the most powerful Cadillac ever built. Production of the 2023 Cadillac Escalade range begins on 18 Julyth.
