Ranger’s new spy shots provide a great first look into the cab of the performance truck. This one is testing with the Bronco Raptor.
The interior has a flat-bed steering wheel with the Raptor brand on the base and a red stripe at the 12 o’clock position. The paddle shifters are behind the wheel. Driver looks at digital instrument cluster.

The center stack has a long portrait-oriented infotainment display. On each side of the screen, there are HVAC vents in red all around. Unfortunately, our spies obscured the bottom of the cabin image, so there’s no way to see the console.
On the outside, the Ranger Raptor sports wrappers to disguise its body, but there doesn’t seem to be any replacement parts to hide the production look. Up front, the truck has the bold “FORD” lettering like other Ford Raptor models. The tow hook is sticking out from the bottom of the bumper, and there’s a slip plate under the nose.
Along the sides, the fenders protrude further than the standard Ranger. The truck rides on black wheels where each pair of spokes creates a Y-shaped design. BF Goodrich tires with a thick tread pattern wrap around the wheels.
The only noticeable change at the rear is a pair of exhaust pipes with black tips.
In terms of performance improvements over the standard Ranger, the Raptor will reportedly use the EcoBoost V6. This will be the 2.7 liter version of the Bronco or the 3.0 liter of the Explorer ST. Comparing the images of this truck and existing ones, the Raptor appears to have a higher ride height.
We will soon have answers to many of these questions as the new Ranger Raptor will debut in February. The truck will allegedly have a base price of $52,500, according to rumors coming from “sources familiar with the matter.”
