Porsche Carrera GT Dancing In The Grass Before The BMW i3 Police Car Arrives

Slippery surfaces and supercars are usually not a great combination as less than ideal traction can easily cause a high-powered engine to spin out of control. However, power sliding on grass in an enclosed area is much safer, especially if the person behind the wheel knows what they are doing. Some of the high-end vehicles did a bit of dancing, but the cops weren’t too happy about the cruelty of their driving.

YouTuber TheTFJJ catch all the action, starring the desired car collection. A black Porsche Carrera GT would have been our pick, but we also saw a few Ferraris like the SF90 Stradale and 458 Special Aperta donuts to the delight of onlookers. One rather exotic appearance is represented by the Lancia Delta S4, a mid-engined all-wheel-drive rally car that raced in the final years of the ill-fated Group B era.

The least interesting cars are the EVs, specifically the BMW i3 police car which decides to annoy the driver so they don’t have fun. The V10-powered Carrera GT wasn’t the only high-revving supercar of the day as we can also see a Ferrari 599 GTO with 670 horsepower unlocking at 8,250 rpm. With only 599 ever made, the Maranello beast is actually rarer than the targa from Zuffenhausen where 1,270 units were assembled.

Even though they weren’t in their natural element, on a hard-driven circuit, it was refreshing to watch expensive and rare cars go into use without drivers worrying about damaging their valuables. It’s not every day that we see CGT kicking the dust because of its tail-loving nature. We can say the same about the 911 GT3 RS, although drivers seem to be more careful with the track-focused beast.

While the police did force drivers to stop littering around their vehicles, it was only temporary as it didn’t take long for the supercar to be back dancing on the grass.
