Some Cadillac Lyriq Buyers Will Receive A $5,500 Discount

Select buyers of the Cadillac Lyriq will be eligible for a $5,500 discount via “Targeted Personal Offers” presented by the luxury brand.

A recent report by Live Car highlights this discounted offer, which is available nationwide to customers who buy or rent a Cadillac Lyriq between June 28^th and August 31^st. At this time, it is unclear who is entitled to receive the discount, as a Cadillac spokesperson did not elaborate when asked about it. Instead, the rep stated that the discount was a “very limited offer” only available to “certain customer groups”.

While the details are kept close to the vest, it’s likely a discount is being offered to Cadillac Lyriq buyers affected by production and delivery delays. It’s safe to assume that this is the case given that the $5,500 discount isn’t offered for model year 2024 vehicles and only applies to the Lyriq 2023. That offer could very well be there to keep Lyriq buyers cool despite some delays in shipping or possible changes to features included. in their special vehicle.

As a reminder, the Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition 2023 utilizes a 100.4 kWh Ultium lithium-ion battery pack and a single Ultium Drive motor mounted on the rear axle. The electric driveline is rated at 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, and Cadillac estimates the Lyriq will have a range of 300 miles from a full charge. Production of the Cadillac Lyriq 2023 recently kicked off at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee. While orders for the 2023 model year are full, pre-orders for the Lyriq 2024 are now open.
