In a video – which we have shortened – detailing the 2021 record-breaking as well as the Bugatti Rimac’s corporate structure, the 33-year-old Croatian entrepreneur promises there is still a future for the old combustion engine. Based on previous statements, Mate Rimac is open-minded about Bugatti’s future. Last year, he said he was “probably doing something crazy” or “something really crazy that nobody thinks about.” A long-hood coupe or even an SUV is being considered, while a pure electric car using Nevera’s lore is likely only a matter of time than if. However, Bugatti Rimac has promised to put a lot of effort into a potential EV instead of just overhauling the Nevera.
