The new Ford Super Duty 2023 is almost out and we can’t wait to see what Ford has in store for its big truck lineup. In a recent spy shot, we caught a glimpse of a camouflaged Ford Super Duty truck with an exposed grille. Based on the design of the current generation Ford Super Duty truck, and the exposed grille on the 2023 prototype, YouTuber TheSketchMonkey created a render of what he thinks Ford’s newest truck will look like.
In a recent batch of spy shots, the new Ford Super Duty 2023 is slowly becoming clearer. Thanks to the limited front-end camouflage, this Ford Super Duty 2023’s front grille is completely exposed showing a stark difference from the current generation of trucks. Based on our observations, this Ford Super Duty 2023 is a Lariat trim based on the presence of side-steps and body-colored mirror covers.
While we got a chance to analyze the new Ford Super Duty 2023 grille, Ford’s camouflage hides another change to the truck’s sheet metal. The hood looks flat and the distinct chamfer around the current-generation truck grille is hidden in this disguised prototype truck.
When it comes to final production trucks, we expect a number of updates that make this more than just a mediocre mid-cycle refresh. Based on the spy photos, we’d expect a completely redesigned interior that should follow the design cues of the current generation Ford F-150.
The Ford Super Duty 2023 should maintain its current lineup of petrol and diesel engines with the possibility of a hybrid model. The current 6.2-liter and 7.3-liter V8 engines should remain relatively unchanged along with the turbocharged 6.7-liter V8 diesel.
Would you expect the new Ford Super Duty 2023 to look like TheSketchMonkey’s speculative design? Or do you prefer the look of today’s generation trucks?
