This allowed people to stay in the actual Dolly Parton tour bus which she used from late 2008 to March 2022. At $10,000 for a two-night stay, this is probably just something the singer’s super fans would pay to experience.
Dolly travels about 360,000 miles in this highly personalized Prevost bus. He doesn’t want to fly, so this rig is his home on wheels.
“I have homes all over the United States, but my favorite place is the bus because that way I can feel the wheels turning,” Parton said.
The first thing you see when you enter the bus is the tiled floor. A comfortable-looking sofa was on one side and a table with semi-circular stools was on the other. Dolly decorates this area with warm earth tones. The walls have hand-painted murals of vines and people traveling.
Illuminated recessed areas on the walls now feature brightly decorated items like guitars. A cupboard in his room was originally for his wigs, but the hotel put a collection of hats there.
Some of the more luxurious upgrades include a bath tub, which isn’t something you’d expect to find on a tour bus. Compared to the usual two stacks of bunk beds, this vehicle only had one, and Dolly used the extra space for the large wardrobe.
Dolly’s bedroom is at the back of the bus, and the view is quite nice. The ceiling is purple and heavily decorated. The bed is a color match. There was a dresser decorated on one of the walls.
