Every week we publish many renderings. While some of them see actual new models coming in the next few months, others are mostly done for fun. They envision super-futuristic creations that likely won’t hit the production line any time soon, if ever at all.
here at Motor1.com, we all love virtual images and that’s why we thought we’d share one additional rendering article each week. It combines the best of design exercises created by our own artists, as well as images provided by independent automotive designers, students and just regular gearheads.
We’ll be updating this article with new renderings from last week every Thursday. That way, you’ll have all the cool digital interpretations that come in handy when you want a glimpse into the future.
The M4 CSL is a beast – there’s no denying that it’s one of the fastest and most hardcore track machines on the market today. But the design… may not be for everyone. This render tries to imagine a slightly firmer front fascia for the coupe. Does it work for you?
The next-generation BMW X3 is out on the road for its first road tests. It already uses its production body and this rendering tries to hide all the camouflage to reveal the final design. If the actual vehicle is anything like this image, we’re totally fine with the look of the new X3.
The new Range Rover SVR has been testing on public roads and tracks for several months now. It won’t be a revolution compared to its predecessors, at least on the outside. Under the skin, however, it will sport a version of the BMW 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 with over 600 horsepower.
The Touareg – Volkswagen’s flagship SUV model in Europe – will soon get a full refresh. It won’t be transitioning to the new generation but it looks like the visual revision will be significant. Facelift is probably the most accurate word here as we expect changes to the front fascia.
