Hot Wheels ‘Treehouse’ Track Literally Goes Up, Down, All Around

We stumbled upon the Backyard Racing YouTube channel just before Christmas last year, and it made us feel like kids were opening presents that Santa had left behind. We share a video showing the coolest Hot Wheels tracks in the world, splitting the treetops for a few minutes. And now there’s a new track that’s just as amazing.

This newest course is called the Treehouse Mega Track, and as the video above shows, the name definitely fits. Like previous Hot Wheels adventures, the video begins in the trees with the car descending into what we consider to be a treehouse. And that is actually a house, built from the ground between two trees with a cozy living room, bedroom and kitchen in it. We know this because its track passes through an open window, winding its way through the house before exiting another window in the kitchen.

The track returns to the decks and trees where it all began, finally turning onto a pedestrian bridge that connects other tall buildings, all under the watchful gaze of the watchdog/breed marshal on duty. The track does not enter the second structure, but circles the first of two zipline bridges that appear to be made of ice cream sticks. It crossed the yard, sending the car to the ground to carve a corner through the leaves before reaching a magnetic lift that pulled it back into the treehouse. How cool is this?

The track returns to the deck for the third circuit, winding its way through tables and chairs before entering the second zipline bridge for the long, fast journey across the courtyard (again) to another building. It was a straight shot to the finish line, with the final push sending the Hot Wheels car jumping into the foam box. It’s 2 minutes 59 seconds from the opening roll to the soft landing.

The video description doesn’t say how long it took to build it, but the track was set up at Airbnb in Tennessee and apparently, there are alien toys hidden around the grounds. Guess that means we’re watching a video again to try and find them. Damn it all.
