The freshly refreshed Nissan Leaf 2023 has a starting price of $28,895 after a destination cost of $1,095. The streamlined lineup now consists of just two trim levels. The model is now available in the showroom.

The updated Leaf features an updated face that makes Nissan’s V-shaped grille less prominent. The bumper has a new sculpt, and there have been adjustments to the headlights. The badge in front is now lit. 17-inch multi-spoke wheels are optional on the S and standard on the SV. At the rear, the company revised the diffuser and spoiler for better aerodynamics.

The cabin has new black cloth upholstery. The S trim has gray trim, and the SV has gloss black accents. The startup video on the instrument panel is also different.
Both trims come with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 technology suite. The SV Plus adds ProPilot Assist 3 driving assistance and Intelligent Around View Monitor.
The powertrain carries over from the pre-refreshed model. The Model S has an electric motor that produces 147 horsepower (110 kilowatts) and 238 pound-feet (322 Newton-meters) of torque. The SV Plus has 214 hp (160 kW) and 250 lb-ft (338 Nm) of power.
At this year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, it was Leaf who was prepared for the race competed. The builders of the Samurai Speed added a lot of aerodynamic assistance to the exterior, including a large front splitter, wider fenders, large wings and a prominent diffuser. The crew also undressed as much as possible to make the car lighter. There are no details about the powertrain tweak.
The next-generation Leaf is reportedly due to debut sometime in 2025. Instead of a hatchback body, the vehicle will reportedly transform into a crossover and will use the CMF-EV platform from the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.
