As seems to be the norm, no discounted Cadillac Escalade offers are available as of June 2022. That means that the luxury brand isn’t offering any incentives or discounts on the purchase or lease of its wildly popular full-size SUV.

For those tracking, it’s now 16 months since Cadillac last offered incentives for the Escalade. The last time any discount was offered was in February 2021.

For the sake of context, below we have provided a list of every discount the Cadillac Escalade has to offer during calendar year 2021, as well as 2022:

Cadillac Escalade Price

Below, we’ve included the 2022 Escalade and Escalade ESV trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, which cover a destination cost of $1,695.

2022 Escalade

  • Luxury – $77,940
  • Premium Luxury – $86,590
  • Sports – $89,290
  • Premium Luxury Platinum – $103,290
  • Sport Platinum – $103,290

2022 Escalade ESV

  • Luxury – $80,940
  • Premium Luxury – $89,590
  • Sports – $92,290
  • Premium Luxury Platinum – $106,290
  • Sport Platinum – $106.290

This lack of discounted 2022 Cadillac Escalade offers in June 2022, and for more than a year before, is a direct result of extremely high demand and sub-optimal supply of Cadillac Escalades at dealer level. The ongoing global shortage of microchips has drastically hampered vehicle production, resulting in industry-wide shortages of new vehicle inventories.

The low supply, high demand scenario has prompted some dealers to flag the Cadillac Escalade MSRP to reflect “fair market value.” In fact, some dealers ask for as much as $25,000 or even $40,000 on top of the sticker price in some scenarios. Cadillac issued a warning to offend dealers for this kind of behavior, but it didn’t appear to have much effect.

Despite all this, the Cadillac Escalade continues to dominate its competitive segment in terms of sales volume, resulting in a 50 percent segment share during Q1 2022. Then it can be assumed that the luxury brand does not see the need to offer a discounted Cadillac Escalade as consumers are likely to end up buying luxury SUVs despite the lack of incentives. or a higher price point.
