2022 Cadillac XT5 and XT6 Recalled For Loose Suspension Toe Link

[ad_1]

Cadillac has issued a recall for certain units of the 2022 Cadillac XT5 and XT6 due to possible loose suspension leg links.

Problem: the fastener in the left rear suspension leg link in affected Cadillac XT5 and XT6 units may not have the correct torque at the factory during suspension assembly.

Danger: if the fasteners in the rear suspension leg links are not tightened properly to specifications, the foot links may be loose or dislodged. This can result in left rear wheel misalignment and can negatively impact vehicle handling, increasing the risk of an accident.

The fix: dealer technicians will inspect the Cadillac XT5 and XT6 left-hand rear suspension to determine if the fasteners have been rotated to specifications. If a fastener is found to be loose or missing, it will be replaced and properly tightened. This procedure will be carried out at no cost to the vehicle owner.
