2023 Cadillac XT4 Onyx, Onyx Lite, Radiant Packages Unavailable

When production of the Cadillac XT4 2023 begins on June 10^th, some LPO grade exterior accent packages (dealer installed) are not available to order. In particular, Cadillac Society have learned that the Onyx, Onyx Lite and Radiant Plans are on hold from XT4 until further notice.

Where available, the Onyx Package (production code PDB) is offered on the XT4 Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels. It includes the following content (relevant production code in brackets):

• Black surround grille with Black mesh (RZ9)
• 20 inch Gloss Black Wheels (SKW)
• Cadillac Monochrome (SFZ) Emblem

Meanwhile, the Onyx Lite Package (production code PCP) was recently introduced for the 2022 XT4 Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport trims. The following content is included in this package:

• 20 inch Gloss Black Wheels (SKW)
• Gloss Black (RIK) XT4 nameplate
• Cadillac Monochrome (SFZ) Emblem

Finally, the Radiant Package (PDV production code) is offered for the XT4 Luxury and Premium Luxury. It is not offered at all for the Sport trim level. This package includes the following content:

• Cadillac Monochrome (SFZ) Emblem
• Galvano surround grille with Galvano finish (SJA)
• 20-inch split 7-spoke alloy wheels with polished finish

Pricing has not been released for these plans for the model year 2023. For reference, on the 2022 model year XT4, the Onyx Plan costs $2,695, the Onyx Lite costs $2,195, and the Radiant Plan costs $2,470. At the moment, it’s unclear why these exterior accent packages were withheld from the Cadillac XT4 2023, or whether they will be available in the future.

This isn’t the first time the exterior accent package has been restricted to the Cadillac XT4. For the 2022 model year, the Onyx Package was made unavailable in March production due to an unknown supplier issue.
