Singer Vehicle Design showcases the latest evolution of its Turbo Study program. Instead of having the exterior styling cues of the first generation Porsche 911, this model incorporates design elements from the 930 and 964 generation 911 Turbo.
True to its name, this Singer features a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged air-cooled flat-six engine with an air-to-water intercooler. The plant produces 510 horsepower (380 kilowatts), which is an increase from the 450 hp (330 kW) in the previous Turbo Study. Previous Singer models used naturally aspirated power plants, including a DLS plant built by Williams Advanced Engineering.

Singer says Turbo Study customers have previously set it up for grand touring, with elements like power-adjustable heated seats. Instead, these buyers want an emphasis on performance. The power is channeled through a six-speed manual gearbox. This car has a sports suspension with a lower ride height. The brakes are carbon-ceramic.
This car has a Turbo Racing White body with a light green double line that runs down the middle of the body. Mint color also appears in the center of the wheels inspired by Fuchs. The front splitter, shark fin intakes and rear spoiler have an exposed carbon fiber finish. No bumper at the rear for a cleaner look.
This Singer interior features a houndstooth fabric with green and black elements over a white background. There are a pair of lightweight carbon fiber seats with leather-wrapped bolsters. A cross-brace takes up space usually for the back seat.
When Singer debuted the original Turbo Study models, the company said they already had more than 70 reservations for them. They are available in rear-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations, depending on customer preferences.
Singer will be bringing Turbo Study to the Goodwood Festival of Speed which will run from June 23-26. It’s unclear whether the company is showing a sample of the new model or one of its two previous debuts.
Singer recently signed an agreement with Porsche for the automaker to supply engines to several of the boutique maker’s vehicles. The power plant will conform to Singer’s specifications.
