Chevrolet Corvette Z06 NFT 2023 Auction Wins Winner Gets Original Car

Next week, the one and only 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 NFT will be auctioned off. The winner will not only receive an NFT, but they will also win the only Corvette Z06 to install in their driveway. All proceeds from the auction will benefit DonorsChoose.

The NFT artwork features a green Corvette Z06 soaring through a blue and purple cityscape. Artist xsullo created the NFT for the “Own the Color” auction.

The original Corvette Z06 has the same “Minted Green” exterior color as the car in the NFT, but you can drive it with this example. Chevrolet will offer it with the Z07 Performance Package and carbon-fiber wheels. The car also features a binary code-inspired VIN and a commemorative plaque. It will also carry the RFN option code.

Chevy introduced the Corvette Z06 2023 in October 2021. This is the second of several Corvette variants we’ve come to expect from the Bow Tie, and will go on sale sometime this summer. The car uses a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter flat-crankshaft V8 engine that produces 670 horsepower (500 kilowatts) and 460 pound-feet (623 Newton-meters) of torque.

The Z07 package adds more performance features to the coupe, such as Michelin Sport Cup 2 R ZP tires, FE7 suspension, and all the aerodynamic features offered in the carbon fiber aero package. The car is also fast to 60 miles per hour, doing it in just 2.6 seconds.

This Corvette Z06 NFT is just the latest from an automaker looking to capitalize on the emerging technology and its potential business prospects. Hyundai, Lamborghini, and McLaren have recently ventured into this space as interest and skepticism about the technology continues to grow.

The auction for the pair begins on June 20 and runs through June 24. SuperRare, a cryptoart dealer, is accept and accept offers on Ethereum.

Production of the Chevrolet Corvette is supposed to start soon, with the high-performance coupe set to go on sale sometime this summer. However, the Corvette 2023 configurator doesn’t feature the Z06 as an option, and we still haven’t received any official pricing information even though we’re aware that GM is raising the price of the Corvette Stingray 2023.
