2022 Cadillac XT5 Gets $200 Price Increase

The 2022 Cadillac XT5 has received a slight $200 price increase.

The price increase applies to destination shipping costs, which increased from $1,195 to $1,395, increasing the overall cost of the luxury crossover by $200. Meanwhile, the 2022 Cadillac XT5’s MSRP remains the same.

The small price increase brings the 2022 Cadillac XT5 Luxury’s starting price to $49,990 for the front-wheel drive model and $51,990 for the all-wheel drive model. The Premium Luxury front-wheel drive model starts at $54,390, while the all-wheel-drive variant starts at $56,390. Lastly, the XT5 Sport – only available in all-wheel-drive form – starts at $59,690.

As a reminder, the Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels of the 2022 Cadillac XT5 are equipped with a turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY) as standard, which produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. These models wear the 350T badge on the elevator doors. The naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), with 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, is optional on the Premium Luxury trim and standard on the Sport trim. These models wear the 400 badge on the elevator doors. Both engine options are mated to a Cadillac nine-speed automatic transmission.

It’s worth noting that some 2022 Cadillac XT5 units are currently being built without certain features as a result of the ongoing global microchip shortage. The current luxury crossover is shipped without features such as front and rear parking assist, heated and ventilated seats, along with a heated steering wheel. The luxury brand indicated that heated and ventilated seats along with a heated steering wheel will be available for installation at a later date.
