2023 Cadillac Lyriq Gets Two Additional Paint Colors

Two new exterior colors are now offered on the Cadillac Lyriq 2023.

Joining the color lineup for the Cadillac Lyriq 2023 are Opulent Blue Metallic and Crystal White Tricoat, which is offered alongside Satin Steel Metallic and Stellar Black Metallic, colors that have been available since the luxury crossover’s debut.

As a reminder, early Lyriq units, known as Lyriq Debut Edition models, were only offered in Satin Steel Metallic or Stellar Black Metallic. Meanwhile, the Luxury Metallic Blue and Crystal White Tricoat, meanwhile, is now available to order on the series production model, and can be added to the Luxury RWD and Luxury AWD trim levels.

The Lyriq Debut Edition has been selling out since last September, when the order book filled up in less than 10 minutes. The order book for the next unit opens on May 19th^th and fills up quickly, although interested parties can now sign up for the waiting list by placing a fully refundable $100 deposit. Customers who choose to sign up for the waiting list have the chance to get their hands on a 2023 model year Lyriq, or the first chance to receive a 2024 model year vehicle.

The Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition 2023 is offered exclusively with rear-wheel drive, as it is equipped with a single Ultium Drive motor mounted on the rear axle. That model, along with the Luxury RWD model, produces 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque while making a range of 312 miles on a single charge. Meanwhile, the Lyriq Luxury AWD model gets a second motor on the front axle, adding power and facilitating all-wheel drive. This configuration is capable of producing over 500 horsepower and 524 pound-feet of torque for a range of approximately 287 miles.

Production of the Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition 2023 is currently underway at the Cadillac Spring Hill plant in Tennessee. Prices for the Lyriq Luxury RWD start at $62,900, while the Lyriq Luxury AWD starts at $64,900. While those are the only two trim levels available at the moment, we expect a more complete trim lineup to be available for the 2024 model year.
