2022 Cadillac XT6 Gets Small Price Increase

The price of the 2022 Cadillac XT6 luxury crossover is up slightly.

In particular, the MSRP for the 2022 Cadillac XT6 remains unchanged. In contrast, the price increase applies to destination delivery costs, which rose from $1,195 to $1,395, adding $200 to the overall cost of the vehicle.

With this small price increase, the most affordable XT6 remains the Luxury trim level, which starts at $49,990 for the front-wheel-drive model, and $51,990 for the all-wheel-drive model. Premium Luxury trim starts at $54,390 for front-wheel drive, while all-wheel-drive starts at $56,390. Lastly, the XT6 Sport starts at $59,690, and is offered exclusively in AWD.

As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac XT6 is powered by two engine options. The first is a naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), with the 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque that is standard on the Premium Luxury and Sport models. These models wear the 400 badge on the elevator doors. Meanwhile, the base Luxury model features a turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), which produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This model wears the 350T badge on the elevator doors. Both engines are connected to a Cadillac nine-speed automatic transmission. Production of the XT6 takes place at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for the US market.

It should be noted that the 2022 Cadillac XT6 is currently being built without some features due to the ongoing global microchip shortage. The front and rear parking assist features are currently limited, and there’s no word on when the feature will return. Heated and ventilated seats were also briefly restricted, but have since been reintroduced to the 2022 XT6.
