Refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 Spied For The First Time

Due to various setbacks stemming from the global COVID-19 pandemic and other supplier issues, the planned update for the Cadillac XT4 has been delayed several times. Now, though, Cadillac Society We’ve finally caught a glimpse of the updated Cadillac XT4 2024 prototype while it’s undergoing testing, giving us an early look at the new model.

This particular prototype appears to be the XT4 Sport trim, which can be identified by the black daytime running (DLO) treatment and roof rails.

Not much is visible through the thick camouflage that wraps around the front and rear ends of this prototype, hiding the fascia. We do know, however, that the upcoming XT4 will feature a revised front end with new lighting treatments that align with the luxury marque’s signature vertical lighting while incorporating a new design direction of horizontal lighting elements, similar to the design language used on the Cadillac Lyriq.

Also pay attention to the wheels, which look brand new – as the current XT4 doesn’t offer the pattern seen here. The wheels hide a set of red brake calipers, which was an optional upgrade available for the 2021 model year XT4 before being discontinued for the 2022 model year.

The interior looks much different from the current XT4. Inside, we find a large curved screen similar to the curved screen in the fifth-generation Escalade along with the Lyriq. This concave display includes the instrument panel and center stack, combining the two into a seamless looking display. We also know that the upcoming Cadillac XT4 2024 will feature the luxury marque’s advanced driver assistance system, Super Cruise, previously unavailable on compact crossovers.

We expect the Cadillac XT4 2024 to retain the single engine option: a turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY). Under the hood of a refreshed 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 model year XT4, the four-cylinder petrol engine produces 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
