VW Golf GTI Owners Hate Running Out of Fuel More Than Anyone

[ad_1]

Fuel prices have skyrocketed – not only in the US but in some parts of the world. And while this in itself makes the trip to the gas station a huge financial chore, the owner of the Volkswagen Golf GTI will have to be more adventurous every time he has to refuel.

In the video posted on tik tok (embedded below or via the source link at the bottom of the story), users mkvtay shares its Mk7 Golf GTI and the unorthodox way to fill its tank – which is a source of discomfort for the rather grubby task of being a car owner.

And yes, as you should have seen in the photo above, his VW Golf GTI is not just any ordinary hatchback – it crashes to the ground and stand up with maximum wheel camber.

The setting is so low and the wheels are so angled that the right rear wheel has to reach the fuel line from the side port to the tank. As a result, Golf GTI owners have to jack up the car and remove the wheels every times he has to refuel because the fuel port is now hiding behind the wheel.

We can only imagine the huge inconvenience he has to go through because of this build but hey, to each his own, they say.

One solution to this problem – as many commenters on social media have pointed out – is to use a fuel cell or move the fuel tank to the trunk. However, it seems that the trunk of this GTI is full, more likely filled with the speakers you normally see with this type of build.

How far will you go to your build target? Is this something you could imagine doing to your car? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
