Maybach Launches Sunglasses That Are As Luxurious As Its Vehicles

[ad_1]

The Maybach badge adorns the most luxurious Mercedes-Benz products. Now, you can wear them too, as the brand launched a line of high-end sunglasses called The Creator which went on sale this summer.

Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer at the Mercedes-Benz Group, and his team invented this form of glasses. The rounded corners should evoke the look of the Maybach logo. The bridge shares elements with the radiator grille on the brand’s vehicles. Each sunglasses takes more than 200 steps to produce.

“Luxury has always been at our soul – and continues to evolve. The Creator embodied our way of luxury and desire for beauty and the extraordinary outside of cars and epitomizes the brand’s innovative claims,” said Wagener of sunglasses.

Creator sunglasses are available in ten color schemes. They come in colored metal or titanium with 22k gold, rose gold, or platinum plating.

The gold plated version comes in three variants: yellow natural horn and gold mirror lens, matte black horn and dark gray lens; or a beige/green marble horn and lens in a green gradient.

The rose gold plated model is available in matte black horn with gray gradient lens or beige horn with rose gold mirror lens.

The platinum plated variant comes in matte black horn with gray gradient lenses or beige/blue marble horn and silver mirror lenses.

The final three models are a red version with white marble horns, a mix of gloss and matte black, and a black-and-white-black design.

Maybach wants buyers to know that harvesting the horns that adorn these sunglasses doesn’t kill any animals. The ingredients come from the IVKO company, which gets them from Asian buffalo.

The Maybach announcement does not list pricing or availability of The Creator sunglasses. Motor1.com contacted the company for details, and we have not received a reply.

Creator sunglasses would be the perfect accessory to go with the Maybach version of the Mercedes SL-Class that the brand is currently developing. Like other products from the brand, this convertible is expected to have a luxurious interior. The teaser image shows the vehicle with a dark red body and a black hood with the Maybach logo as a repeating pattern on it.
